The Horizon Europe project SoilTribes, with iFOS as a project partner, has opened two new funding schemes to foster awareness, engagement and innovation around soil health.
Open Call for Multi-Actor Initiatives
Organisations and consortia from EU Member States and associated countries can apply until 10 October 2025. Supported are creative and interdisciplinary projects that promote soil literacy and sustainable use of soils.
- Grants of €25,000, €50,000 or €100,000
- Duration: 6–12 months
- Focus areas: communication campaigns, creative events, citizen engagement
In total, €1.75 million is available.
Micro-Grants for Community Members
SoilTribes also offers 32 micro-grants of €750 each for members of the Community of Practice. These support participation in events, peer learning, or small soil-related activities, with several application rounds running until 2026.
